📆 Program
Upon your arrival on the day of the event, one of our colleagues will bring you the water jugs and grenadine. At that time, you can let them know what time you’d like us to serve the cake and pizzettas. At the end of the birthday party, we’ll give you the candy bags.
🎂 Cake
We offer three options for blowing out the candles:

A chocolate fondant from Tarte Françoise

A red fruit cheesecake from Tarte Françoise

A crêpe buffet with Nutella, brown sugar, and white sugar (2 crêpes per child). We adjust the quantity of cake or crêpes according to the number of children.
Please note: if the number of children changes on the day of the event and you have chosen the cake option, you may still be required to pay for the additional cake that was ordered.

👍 Guests’ Parents
The parents of your guests and/or your little one’s family are welcome to stay during the birthday party.
Please note: an entry ticket for children who are not participating in the birthday party but are accompanying other kids must be purchased separately.

⏰ Timing
Birthday party slots are either from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Children may stay and play in the playground after that time, but the birthday area must be vacated.
⚠️ Please note: it is not possible to arrive or start earlier due to internal organization reasons.
💳 Payment
A €50 deposit will be required when booking online.
The remaining balance for the birthday party must be paid on site, either in cash or by card.
🧒 Number of children
Our birthday packages include 9 children — the birthday child plus 8 guests.
For more than 9 children, an additional fee per child will apply.
The final number of guests must be confirmed one week before the party.
If siblings accompany their parents but are not part of the celebration, they will need to pay an entry fee — see entry prices for details.

Can I bring an extra cake?
You may bring an extra cake for the children.
If you’d like to add some savory options to the table, we offer mixed platters, pizzas, and croque-monsieurs.

⚠️ Outside food is not allowed, except for fruits and raw vegetables.
Absent on the day
We ask that you let us know the total number of children two days before the birthday party. You will receive an email about this.
If you do not receive anything, please contact us at waterloo@kidsfactory.be to let us know the number of children.
For organizational reasons and due to the costs involved, we will not be able to change the number of children after this confirmation. We will not take into account any last-minute absences.
If you are missing confirmations, we advise you to only let us know the number of children who have confirmed their attendance, and not those who are still waiting to reply.
We will find a solution if the latter show up at the birthday party anyway.
Can the guests’ parents stay during the party?
Yes, they are welcome to sit in our café area and enjoy a nice moment while the birthday celebration takes place.
Ask for our menu to order a drink or a light snack.
⚠️ Please note: no tables are reserved for accompanying parents.
What does the decoration include?
The birthday decoration includes a solid-colored paper tablecloth, along with plates, cups, and napkins that match the theme you selected when booking.
If you’d like to bring additional decorations, that’s absolutely fine.
Please note, however, that it’s not possible to arrive earlier in the morning — the doors open at 10 a.m.
From what age is a child considered a birthday guest?
We count as guests all children seated at the table and having cake.
Your basic birthday package includes 8 guests (in addition to the birthday child). Beyond that, an extra fee per child will apply.
If other children are simply accompanying but not participating in the party, an entry fee must be paid for each of them.

Is the deposit refundable?
We offer a refund for cancellations made more than 30 days before the birthday date.
Why such a long notice period? Because we need enough time to fill the reserved time slot, as most birthday parties are booked about a month in advance.
How do I know if my birthday party is confirmed?
Once the deposit has been paid, your booking is considered confirmed.
Normally (if all goes well 😅), you’ll receive two emails after payment:

one summarizing your reservation, and
-
another with information about how to prepare for the big day.
If you haven’t received these emails, please check your spam folder.

And for guests' siblings
If your guests come with a sibling who is not participating in the birthday party, a simple entrance fee will be charged according to their age.
You are free to pay this entrance fee yourself or let the parents pay it. 😊
